Our first stop of the tour will be at Malostonski bay, which is mostly known for the production of oysters. This beautiful and picturesque area is located in the canal between Pelješac peninsula and Croatia’s mainland. There you will have a unique opportunity to visit one of the family owned oyster farms, learn about traditional ways of growing oysters and have a chance to taste freshly picked oysters from the sea.
As we continue driving up the country side of the peninsula, our main stopping points will be three family wineries. While taking the tour through wine cellars , our hosts will tell you a little bit about their wine production and why Pelješac peninsula is a perfect region for wine production. Of course, with this kind of experience, tasting top quality wine is indispensable.
